Concrete Surface Retarder - Spray Type
DESCRIPTION
Expagrate Spray is
a liquid surface retarder.
It is easily applied using the spraying or
roller methods on fresh concrete surface.
Expagrate Spray produces a
rough prepared surface suitable for the perfect
bonding
of cement/sand, rendering coats, plasters, etc.,
without the necessity to stab hack in order to
achieve a suitable key.
The rough pepared
surface finish obtained is pleasing in texture
and decorative and extremely durable,
weathering evenly like natural stone, unlike the
smooth finished concrete which often stains and
streaks as it matures. Expagrate Spray is not
suitable for use with white cement.
SPECIFYING
"Expagrate Spray"
should be specified by name and used as per
application procedures below.
Apply
Expagrate Spray to the fresh concrete surface
using the spraying or roller methods immediately
after the surface water of the fresh concrete
has disappeared.
Note: It is
important to maintain consistent coverage in
order to achieve a consistent finish to the
surface.
Water-jet the
treated surface within 30 hours after
application of Expagrate Spray. This is to
maintain optimal effectiveness of the product.
