Cemcure EB 286 Clear
Water based Concrete Curing Compound

DESCRIPTION

Cemcure EB 286 Clear is an efficient water based curing compound specially formulated using a water based medium.

The use of water-based medium ensures the production
of a efficient low cost curing system that reduces toxicity and eliminates the risk of fire hazard.

Cemcure EB 286 Clear reacts with cement to form a rapid setting and low permeability coating that retains the appropriate amount of water required for hydration and hence aids the curing of concrete.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

  • Possesses water-based, non-toxic and non-flammable properties.
  • Provides a highly cost effective means of curing concrete.
  • Needs no removal of dried film as it can act as a surface sealer for subsequent decorative coating.
  • Improves abrasion resistance of the concrete surface as Cemcure EB 286 Clear hardens the concrete surface.

Note: Cemcure EB 286 Clear is not recommended for use in temperatures below 0°C.

SPECIFYING

"Cemcure EB 286 Clear" should be specified by name and used as per application procedures below.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

  • For horizontal surfaces
  1. Apply Cemcure EB 286 Clear evenly onto freshly placed concrete with low pressure pneumatic spraying system or knapsack sprayer as soon as the initial surface sheen has disappeared from concrete face (i.e. the initial set of concrete).
  2. Allow it to cure.
  • For vertical surfaces
  1. Damp the concrete surface with clean water immediately upon removal of formwork.
  2. Apply Cemcure EB 286 Clear evenly onto the concrete surface by roller, brush or sparyer.
  3. Allow 4 to cure.

Cemcure EB 286 White
White Pigmented Water based Curing Compound

DESCRIPTION
